January Member Of The Month

Edward Watson

It feels especially fitting that we celebrate our Member of the Month on the very first Sunday of the month—because this individual has been serving Bride Ministries from Day One.

This month, the choice was unmistakable. Overwhelmingly, people described him with words like welcoming, warmth, laughter, servant-hearted, big hugs, radiant smile, and a true role model. And anyone who knows him knows—every one of those words is true.

It is with great joy that we recognize Edward Watson as our January Member of the Month.

Daniel first connected with Edward through a survivor who had received ministry through one of our students. Though she had no money to give, she was deeply grateful for the healing she experienced and wanted to give back in some way. Daniel mentioned that he was starting a church and could use help with AV. She immediately thought of one person—someone who had just moved to Katy, knew a bit about AV, and had an incredibly helpful spirit.

When Daniel reached out, Edward couldn’t immediately answer the question—but what he did say was far more powerful. He said, “When you start your church, I’ll be at the first service.”

And true to his word, Edward showed up.

He quickly realized that my husband needed help—a lot of help. Even though he knew very little about Bride Ministries at the time, Edward and his wife Deidre didn’t hesitate. They became faithful, founding members of this church, standing with us through some of the hardest seasons of ministry and becoming true pillars in this house.

From offering to come out of retirement to play the drums for our fledgling worship team, to arriving early—sometimes being the only one there with Daniel at 5 or 6 a.m. to unload the van—and staying late after service, Edward has always been there. Always steady. Always joyful. Always willing.

Those who join us online may recognize Edward from the five minutes of encouragement he somehow manages to “steal” from Daniel each week, or from the reassuring smile he carries while playing the drums. But we, the local church, know him in a deeper way.

We know him for his welcoming, fatherly hugs. For the joy with which he greets every person he meets. For the servant’s heart he brings into everything he does.

Edward is also an integral member of our Advance Team, faithfully volunteering year after year to help plan and execute one of the most significant events of our ministry. He is the one who packs the van, ensures every piece of equipment is accounted for, and makes

sure everything is set up correctly for our largest event of the year—without complaint and without recognition.

And on a personal note—for many of the moms here, including myself—Edward and Deidre have stepped in as spiritual aunt and uncle. They have given weary parents the gift of rest by opening their home, feeding, entertaining, and lovingly caring for our children. They are people who love community, love hospitality, and have proven themselves to be deeply trustworthy and reliable.

Daniel and I know that if we ask Edward to do something, it will be done—done right, done with excellence, and done with a smile.

It is truly an honor to present Edward Watson as our January 2026 Member of the Month. He is a son of God who reflects the Father’s heart in humility, faithfulness, and joy. We are profoundly grateful that we get to serve alongside him.

Please join me in celebrating and honoring Edward Watson, our January 2026 Member of the Month.

December Member Of The Month

Lindsey Blazek

We first met Lindsey in September of 2021, when we launched Bride Ministries Church in person. We’ll never forget the moment we learned that she and her family were driving three and a half hours each way just to attend a brand-new church plant. And not only did they come—they came ready to serve.

Lindsey and West were among the first to raise their hands, showing up early, staying late, and helping my husband load and unload that big white van week after week—especially in a season when I had a newborn and could barely lift anything.  A few years later, they moved closer to the church to be part of this community more fully.

And since then, their commitment has only grown. Many of you may not know this, but we were able to enjoy parking on our property long before gravel ever touched the ground because West and Lindsey faithfully mowed and maintained all eight acres of grass—every week—in the Texas summer.

And somehow, even with a full-time job and a full-time farm, Lindsey still shows up every Sunday with homemade pastries and baked treats that could rival any bakery. She even makes gluten-free options for those with sensitivities. My personal favorite is her gluten-free key-lime-pie situation… so good I wish I could take a picture of the taste and enjoy it without the calories!

But that’s not all. Lindsey has been a faithful member of the Welcome Team for the past two years, and for almost a year now, she has also served on the Worship Team. This year, she went above and beyond—dedicating two or more days every week starting in August to help us prepare for the Bride Tribe Advance 2025. Her contribution was truly invaluable.

And somehow, in her spare time—if such a thing exists—she provides the church with organic, pasture-raised, cage-free eggs and the creamiest goat milk you will ever taste.  Lindsey is a devoted wife to West and a loving mother to Hayley and Tyler. She has also made a powerful impact on the Discovering Truth podcast.

Her courage in sharing her story has touched countless lives and has become one of the most listened-to episodes on the entire channel.  Lindsey is not only sweet, kind, and deeply servant-hearted—she is a living testimony of the power of God’s love and grace to grace to redeem, make whole and to make all things new.

November Member Of The Month

Jacqueline Campbell

It is our great honor to recognize Jacqueline Campbellas our Member of the Month.  Jacqueline is a proud veteran of the United States Army, a devoted wife, and a loving mother to her son. With steadfast faith and courage, she and her family journeyed across the country to join this ministry — a powerful testimony to her obedience and devotion to God’s call.

When members of the church expressed a desire to beautify the ministry house, Jacqueline answered without hesitation. In truth, I may have volunteered her and Paul, for the task — but they embraced it with full hearts. Together, they transformed the ministry grounds from a patch of weary plants and overgrown weeds into a flourishing garden — a place of life, beauty, and peace.

Jacqueline and Paul have led the gardening team with grace, perseverance, and extraordinary gifting. Many times, I have arrived at the church to find Jacklynn quietly tending to the plants — having driven 45 minutes simply to water, prune, and nurture what God has entrusted to her care. When volunteers were needed to unpack chairs or prepare the building, she was there. When we called for volunteers for Sunday service in the new building, she was among the first to respond.

In just a short time, Jacqueline has become a beloved and dependable presence within our community — greeting members and guests each Sunday morning with warmth, joy, and genuine kindness.  What stands out most about Jacqueline is her unwavering dedication to the Lord. She first discovered Bride Ministries by her son and dared to finish a whole podcast, but through faith and service, she has made this ministry her home. Her hands have beautified our campus, but it is her heart that has truly blessed our family of faith.

For her faithfulness, her commitment, and her spirit of service, we are deeply honored to recognize Jacqueline Campbell as our Member of the Month. She embodies the very heart of dedication and love that reflects God’s faithfulness toward us all.

With Great Appreciation,
